a 24-year-old chicago parolee is facing a felony gun charge after police say he tried to draw a weapon on the hillside police chief during a brief chase tuesday afternoon.marcus davis, 24, of chicago, has been charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon in connection with shots fired from a vehicle in a funeral procession, according to the cook county state’s attorney’s office.davis is expected to appear at the cook county courthouse in maywood at 1:30 p.m. thursday.the funeral party was linked with three reported spats of gunshots spanning from chicago’s austin neighborhood to west suburban hillside.authorities say the first shots were fired in the 5400 block of west van buren street in chicago, prompting a nearby church service to end abruptly. not long after, shots were reported near the eisenhower expressway in forest park, where a funeral procession was traveling.the final burst of gunfire was around 2 p.m. near mannheim road and harrison street in hillside.police believe the shots came from a vehicle within the funeral procession headed to oakridge cemetery in unincorporated cook county near hillside.  a caller reported a car at the funeral had firearms and police waited along mannheim road to intercept the vehicle, which was driving in a northbound funeral procession.hillside police released dash camera footage wednesday showing the brief car chase involving four suspects who authorities say were possibly responsible for firing gunshots while driving in a f...
